Modules overview

Modules give agents permission to work with business data. Knowledge answers questions; modules update records, bookings, tickets, orders, and structured rows.

#Available module types

Nexaflow currently supports:

  • CRM: contacts, leads, notes, and pipeline updates.
  • Tickets: support queue, priority, status, assignment, and escalation.
  • Scheduling: calendar, appointments, event types, availability, and settings.
  • Orders / Catalog: orders, products, categories, taxes, stock, and order settings.
  • Spreadsheet: spreadsheet-style rows, columns, business rules, and workflow records.

#Install a module

  1. Go to Modules in the main sidebar.
  2. Click Add Module.
  3. Choose the module type.
  4. Give the module a clear name.
  5. Create the module.

Use names that describe the data source, such as Sales CRM, Support Tickets, or Coffee Catalog.

#Enable a module for an agent

Installing a module makes it available to the workspace. You still need to enable it for an agent.

  1. Open the agent.
  2. Go to Modules.
  3. Enable the module.
  4. Save changes.
  5. Test the module in Playground.

#When to use modules

Use modules when the agent should do any of these:

  • Store user-provided details.
  • Look up live or structured records.
  • Create or update tickets.
  • Book or reschedule appointments.
  • Check product availability.
  • Trigger a workflow handoff.

#Module safety

Treat module access as a controlled permission. Only enable modules the agent actually needs.

Before going live:

  • Test successful actions.
  • Test missing information.
  • Test refusal or escalation cases.
  • Confirm records are written correctly.
