Orders and catalog module

The Orders module lets agents work with products, pricing, availability, categories, taxes, and order records.

#What it includes

The orders workspace includes:

  • Orders
  • Catalog
  • Categories
  • Taxes
  • Settings

#Use cases

Use Orders / Catalog when the agent should:

  • Answer product questions.
  • Check availability.
  • Explain pricing.
  • Help customers discover products.
  • Create or update order handoffs.
  • Use product metadata such as brand, barcode, MPN, category, or stock.

#Set up Orders

  1. Go to Modules.
  2. Add an Orders module.
  3. Add catalog items.
  4. Configure categories and taxes if needed.
  5. Open the agent.
  6. Enable the module under Agent Settings → Modules.

#Catalog records

Catalog records may include:

  • SKU
  • Name
  • Price
  • Availability
  • Category
  • Description
  • Image
  • Stock fields if stock management is enabled
  • Brand, barcode, or MPN if configured

#Quick actions

When an orders module is enabled, the agent settings can show order quick-action suggestions. These suggestions can bypass the LLM and trigger order interceptors directly.

Use them for common flows like:

  • View menu.
  • Track order.
  • Start checkout.
  • Ask product availability.
