Scheduling module

The Scheduling module lets agents check availability, book appointments, reschedule meetings, and manage event types.

The scheduling workspace includes:

  • Calendar
  • Appointments
  • Event types
  • Availability
  • Settings

#Use cases

Use Scheduling for:

  • Consultations.
  • Demos.
  • Service appointments.
  • Clinic or provider bookings.
  • Restaurant or hospitality reservations.
  • Internal meeting requests.

#Set up Scheduling

  1. Go to Modules.
  2. Add a Scheduling module.
  3. Configure availability and event types.
  4. Open the agent.
  5. Enable the module under Agent Settings → Modules.
  6. Save changes.

#Test appointment booking

In Playground, try:

Do you have anything open Friday afternoon?

Verify:

  • The agent checks available slots.
  • The agent asks for required booking details.
  • The appointment is created only when enough information is available.
  • The confirmation includes date, time, duration, and attendee details.

#Avoid double bookings

Scheduling enforces overlap checks for appointments. Still, you should test:

  • Same resource, same time.
  • Different resource, same time.
  • Rescheduling existing appointments.
  • Last-minute booking requests.
